Join our Talent Pool

Work on problems that do not yet have established answers.

As Thorizon grows, you may contribute to reactor design, engineering studies, safety assessments, system architecture, technology development, licensing activities, supplier engagement, testing programs, or future deployment projects.

You will work in a startup environment where:

• Priorities evolve as we learn.
• Responsibilities often extend beyond job titles.
• Technical depth and practical execution are equally valued.
• Progress requires collaboration across disciplines.
• Decisions are made with incomplete information and refined as knowledge grows.

This is not an environment for people who need perfect certainty before taking action.
At the same time, this is not a place for shortcuts.

The challenge is learning how to move quickly while preserving the discipline, traceability, and quality required to build complex nuclear technology.

You will have opportunities to influence not only technical solutions, but also the way we work together, learn together, and build our culture as the company scales.

You are an experienced engineer or technical specialist with a background in a complex industry such as nuclear, aerospace, defence, semiconductors, chemicals, oil & gas, medical technology, or other highly regulated environments.

You bring expertise in one or more relevant domains, but you also understand that no single discipline can solve a challenge of this magnitude alone.

You are likely to recognize yourself in several of the following:

• You combine technical excellence with intellectual humility.
• You are willing to challenge assumptions, including your own.
• You care more about finding the right answer than about being right.
• You communicate openly, even when discussions are difficult.
• You ask questions when something feels unclear or inconsistent.
• You learn continuously and remain curious.
• You take ownership of outcomes, not only tasks.
• You value transparency, trust, and constructive feedback.
• You can work through uncertainty without creating unnecessary drama.
• You contribute to an environment where people feel comfortable raising concerns, sharing mistakes, and learning from them.

Most importantly, you understand that great engineering is never only about technology. It is about people working together with integrity, accountability, and respect for the consequences of their decisions.

The energy transition needs solutions that are both ambitious and responsible.

At Thorizon, we are developing a next-generation molten salt reactor designed to provide clean, reliable energy while making use of long-lived nuclear waste as fuel. It is a challenge that sits at the intersection of engineering excellence, scientific curiosity, and long-term societal impact.

Joining our Talent Pool means becoming part of a community of engineers and technical experts who want to contribute to one of the most complex technological projects of our time.

Whether your expertise lies in neutronics, thermohydraulics, safety and licensing, radioprotection, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, chemistry, civil and layout engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation & control, HVAC, or related disciplines, your work can help shape the future of energy.

The decisions we make today will influence technologies that may operate for decades. This requires technical rigor, thoughtful judgement, and a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with engineering systems that matter.
