About UNIS Group

For 40 years, UNIS Group has been helping companies worldwide to keep their production processes running smoothly. We ensure that machines and systems operate reliably, preventing downtime.

With offices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Brazil and Germany, we have an international impact, but in Grou it remains personal. Here you will work with a close-knit team that takes initiative, communicates openly and takes responsibility. At UNIS, you will help companies worldwide to produce reliably and sustainably.

Do you have a degree in electronics at least at MBO level 4, years of experience with electronics and an interest in industrial control systems? Are you a true team player, enjoy contributing ideas and know how to delegate tasks effectively? Then we are looking for you for the position of Electrical Engineer Research and Development at UNIS Group!

What will you do?

  • As an R&D Engineer, you will develop systems for testing industrial electronics:

  • Assist in specifying project requirements

  • Design and build test systems, often with limited technical information

  • Document designs and write user manuals

  • Support other technical departments:

  • Conduct in-depth research on the compatibility of electronic components

  • Supervise the implementation of test systems

  • Assist repair departments with troubleshooting when necessary.

What do we offer?

  • An interesting and varied position in a close-knit team

  • Exposure to a wide range of technologies: analog, digital, and power electronics, software, and electric motors

  • An opportunity to gain extensive technical knowledge and experience

  • Excellent salary and benefits

  • Flexible working hours, an informal and collegial work atmosphere, and amenities such as a very luxurious company restaurant make UNIS Group a pleasant company to work for.

Some of the products we repair were designed around the turn of the millennium or even earlier. Therefore, we also encourage candidates with experience in older or classic technologies to apply.

What they look for

What do we ask of you?

  • You have at least an MBO 4-level qualification in electronics

  • Demonstrable experience with analog, digital, and power electronics

  • Strong ability to analyze existing electronic circuits and translate them into schematics

  • In-depth interpretation and evaluation of component specifications

  • Ability to balance perfectionism with pragmatic working

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
