About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you play a key role in driving the commercial growth of Charlie works by identifying, approaching, and securing new clients.You are a true hunter with a strong commercial mindset. You actively explore the market, identify business opportunities, and take the initiative to connect with potential clients. Whether this means making cold calls, arranging meetings, networking, or simply walking into a company to introduce yourself, you are confident and determined to create opportunities.You understand the needs of potential clients and know how to translate them into attractive, commercially sound staffing solutions. You build relationships, negotiate rates and contractual conditions, and work towards establishing profitable, long-term partnerships.You take ownership of your sales pipeline, monitor your performance against clearly defined KPIs, and continuously look for ways to improve your results.We are looking for someone who combines excellent social and communication skills with commercial determination, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for sales.This is a full-time position, with regular visits to prospective clients and business partners.Here is what you will be in charge of: You are responsible for actively identifying, approaching, and acquiring new clients, contributing directly to the commercial growth of Charlie works. You proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, company visits, referrals, and other sales activities. You confidently approach potential clients, including through unannounced visits, and create opportunities to introduce Charlie works and its staffing solutions. You build and maintain strong professional relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business needs, operational challenges, and staffing requirements. You prepare and deliver convincing commercial proposals and presentations, demonstrating the added value of working with Charlie works. You negotiate commercial rates, margins, contractual terms, and service conditions, ensuring agreements are both competitive and financially attractive for Charlie works. You take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial prospecting and first contact to negotiations, contract agreements, and successful client onboarding. You actively manage and develop your sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and converting opportunities into new business. You work with clear sales targets and KPIs, continuously monitoring your performance and taking action to achieve or exceed commercial objectives. You identify market developments, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities, translating these insights into concrete commercial actions. You collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure that commercial agreements are realistic, achievable, and aligned with the organization's capabilities. You maintain accurate and up-to-date information about prospects, client interactions, sales activities, and commercial agreements in our internal systems. You represent Charlie works professionally at client meetings, networking events, and other commercial opportunities. You consistently consider profitability, operational feasibility, and the long-term interests of Charlie works when developing new business.
