About the role

Build with us

Since 2004, we've had one clear goal: to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. Today, more than 250,000 companies use Mollie to get paid, manage money and grow, with products designed to be simple, scalable, and dependable. With 950+ Mollies across 14+ locations, we care deeply about autonomy and craft. So we work in small teams, with real ownership, and we trust you to make the right decisions. We're building for the long term, so we provide the tools you need, processes you can rely on, and a balanced work environment to help you do work you're proud of. Sound like your kind of place? Let's build together.

Your impact

The Planning & Analysis domain empowers the organisation with accurate, granular insights and drives proactive decision making that stays aligned with our growth plans and cost envelope.

This role is fundamental in connecting long term workforce strategy to daily execution. You will translate hiring, attrition and spend signals into clear guidance for the People & Places (P&P) team, talent acquisition and the business leaders they support.

You will be the trusted business partner and numbers person for P&P leadership, helping them prioritise where to focus and how to measure success.

What you'll ship

  • Own how Mollie tracks, measures and forecasts headcount, including the headcount model, hiring plan, attrition and open role view, and the link between headcount and budget.

  • Lead the analytical response to our most important workforce questions, such as sizing hiring needs, stress testing plan assumptions, and building the case for new teams and locations.

  • Build and own models that break headcount and people cost down into their key drivers (hiring pace, attrition, mix, seniority, location), giving P&P and senior leaders the visibility to prioritise and act with confidence.

  • Walk P&P through the trends in people data and the story behind them, including spend and other relevant metrics such as People OPEX, Places costs and vendor spend.

  • Own the people and headcount view end to end in our monthly business reviews and in the annual planning cycle.

What you'll bring

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, workforce planning or people analytics, ideally within a high growth fintech, tech or payments company. Your academic background is in a quantitative or business field.

  • You are very comfortable using AI tooling in your daily work, and this is a must. You use it to accelerate your output, pressure test your thinking, automate recurring work and remove the grunt work that gets in the way of insight.

  • Strong modelling skills in Google Sheets or Excel, and familiarity with HRIS and data visualisation tools (HiBob, Workday, Omni or similar). You can reason about headcount, attrition, cost per head and hiring funnel metrics without the concepts needing to be explained.

  • Experience with Pigment, our planning tool, or with a comparable planning platform (Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar).

  • You are action oriented by nature. Your analysis does not stop at describing what happened. You formulate a recommendation and stand behind it.

  • You handle sensitive people data with discretion and good judgement.

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.

Unlock your full potential and join us to eliminate financial bureaucracy

If you're excited by the idea of building what's next, for yourself and for thousands of businesses across Europe, we'd love to hear from you. Apply with your CV (in English) using the form below.

Questions about data & AI jobs in Amsterdam

How many data & AI jobs in Amsterdam are open right now?

96 at the moment, every one from an employer on the IND Public Register of Recognised Sponsors. A job leaves this page when the employer takes the posting down.

Can these employers sponsor my visa?

Yes. Being on the IND register means the employer may apply for a highly skilled migrant (kennismigrant) residence permit on your behalf. Whether a particular role comes with sponsorship is the employer's decision; the relocation badge marks postings that say so themselves, and we quote the sentence.

What salary do I need for a highly skilled migrant visa in 2026?

From 1 January 2026 the IND requires a gross monthly salary of €5,942 if you are 30 or older, €4,357 if you are under 30, and €3,122 for recent graduates of Dutch universities and orientation-year holders. Holiday allowance is not counted in these amounts.

Do I need to speak Dutch to work in Amsterdam?

Not for the jobs shown here: by default these are postings in English that do not ask for Dutch. If you speak Dutch, the listings in Dutch or asking for Dutch open up many more roles at the same sponsors.
