As a Receptionist / Hostess, you are the welcoming face and first point of contact at our Headquarters in The Hague. You are also responsible for handling incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, and ensuring that daily reception activities run smoothly.In addition, you manage incoming mail, parcels, and deliveries, making sure everything reaches the right person or department. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, has a natural sense of hospitality, and combines a friendly personality with a professional and organized approach. This is a full-time position based at our Headquarters in The Hague. Here is what you will be in charge of: You warmly welcome clients, temporary workers, and other visitors, ensuring that everyone receives a friendly, professional, and positive first impression of Charlie works. You act as the first point of contact at our reception, answering questions, providing information, and assisting visitors in a helpful and service-oriented manner. You ensure that visitors are directed to the correct person or department and that their arrival is communicated to the appropriate colleagues. You professionally answer incoming telephone calls, assist callers where possible, and transfer calls to the appropriate departments or colleagues. You manage incoming mail, parcels, and deliveries, ensuring that everything is accurately received, registered where necessary, and distributed to the correct recipients. You maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area, contributing to a pleasant and professional atmosphere at our Headquarters. You support temporary workers who visit our office by answering general questions and directing them to the appropriate colleagues or departments for further assistance. You communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments to ensure that visitors, telephone inquiries, and deliveries are handled smoothly and efficiently. You proactively identify situations where visitors or colleagues may need assistance and take initiative to provide practical solutions. You assist with general administrative and organizational tasks related to reception activities when necessary. You represent Charlie works in a professional, approachable, and positive manner, contributing to a welcoming environment for everyone.
